LeRoy Edgar Shuler, 88, passed away of natural causes Wednesday in Greenacres, Fla.

LeRoy was born to the late Laura and Albert Shuler in Butler on Jan. 14, 1926.

Until his move to Florida in 1972, LeRoy was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Butler.

He worked for Butler schools for 17 years. After his move to Florida, LeRoy worked for the Palm Beach County School Board until his retirement in 1992.

In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death by his brothers, Claude, John and Carl Shuler.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann Shuler of Lantana, Fla.; his daughter, Nancy Shuler LeDoux of Reston, Va.; his son, John Regis Shuler; and his two granddaughters, Alexandra and Erika Shuler of Davie, Fla.
