Rec areas open in Allegheny National Forest
Some recreation facilities in the Allegheny National Forest are open for fishing season.
The campgrounds include: Beaver Meadows, Loleta, Minister Creek, Tracy Ridge and Twin Lakes.
The boat launches include: Beaver Meadows, Irwin Run, Roper Hollow, Webbs Ferry and Willow Bay.
The day-use areas include: Beaver Meadows, Hearts Content, Jakes Rocks, Loleta, Rimrock Overlook and Tidioute Overlook.
On May 5, other campgrounds, boat launches and docks will open. These campgrounds include Buckaloons and Willow Bay; the boat launches are Buckaloons, Elijah Run and Kiasutha; and the docks are Webbs Ferry and Elijah Run.
