James V. 'Jimmy' DeMucci
James V. “Jimmy” DeMucci, 88, of Butler passed away Sunday in the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1925, in Butler, and was the son of the late Joseph and Assunta Giordano DeMucci.
Jimmy was a bartender at the Willard Hotel for many years.
He was also a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Jimmy was a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post 249.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Peggy DeMucci of Butler, and her children, and his niece, Karen Tirk of Butler, and her children.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Hector A. DeMucci, and his two sisters, Edith Tirk and Mary P. DeMucci.
DeMucci — There will be no visitation for James V. “Jimmy” DeMucci, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014.A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.
