Michael J. Garland
Michael J. Garland, 59, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday in Zelienople.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1955, in Pittsburgh to Elizabeth Rose Garland and the late Roy J. Garland Sr.
Michael worked at Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a machinist.
He loved hunting and fishing. Michael was a family man. Spending time with his grandkids and being outdoors is what made him the happiest. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Elizabeth Rose Garland; his four children, Chad Garland and his companion, Sherri Taylor, of Zelienople, Chet Garland of Zelienople, Jamie Wazenegger and her husband, Luke, of Zelienople, and Channing Gaston of Butler; his two brothers, Roy J. Garland Jr. and his wife, Jane, of Chicago and Dan Garland and his wife, Barbara, of Zelienople; his five grandchildren, Morgan, Lidia, Xavier, Lana and Zander, and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Roy J. Garland Sr.
Garland — The Garland family will host a private visitation for friends of Michael J.
