Robert Wyman Kimble
Robert Wyman Kimble, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., passed away peacefully Monday.
He was born Thursday, March 21, 1935, in Pittsburgh to the late Ms. Roberta Kelly and Mr. Earl Carlton Kimble.
Robert was a proud graduate of Slippery Rock University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked for more than 30 years in the steel industry. He was also a past-president of the Latrobe Jaycees and a state vice-president in that organization.
Robert and his wife, Nancy, lived for 35 years in Longmeadow, Mass., before he retired to North Charleston, S.C., where he served as president of his Homeowners Association in The Elms.
A man of faith, Robert served as an elder of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hampden, Mass. Robert loved his family, the Pittsburgh Steelers and golf in that order.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Jeanne Kimble of Charleston, S.C.; his son, Robert Wyman and his wife, Peggy, of Glencoe, Ill.; his daughter, Victoria Kimble Garvey and her husband, Richard, of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; his two grandchildren, Max Wyman Wagner Kimble and Denise April Reinhardt and her husband, Andrew; and his two great-grandchildren, Reagan Victoria Reinhardt and Kelsey Drew Reinhardt.
Kimble— A memorial service for Robert Wyman Kimble, who passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt.
