Genevieve Whyel Bowser of Cabot passed away Friday at Allegheny Valley Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1944, to the late Harry and Elizabeth Whyel.

She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Kathy (Laura) Bowser, John Bowser III and Jennifer (Steven) Hickman of Eastmont; her grandchildren, Branden and Aiden Hickman; and her brothers and sisters.

Bowser — Calling hours with the family of Genevieve Whyel Bowser, who passed away Friday, Dec. 19. 2014, will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the SCHLEIFER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 534 Jones Ave., North Braddock.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
