I think you make a couple good points Joe. I have my own thoughts about those that relocate and then have nothing good to say about the town or community where they grew up. Just before writing this I received a link to Sedonna from an old friend that moved to Henderson, Nevada, near Las Vegas. He has become obsessed with photography and has sent me hundreds of photos of mostly red rocks. (82 pics just the other day) He moved to Henderson with his wife several years ago to be close to his daughter and grand daughter. Sadly, his wife passed away, his daughter and her husband are extremely busy working and the grand daughter got married and moved to Denver. He just told me again how much he likes the Southwest. Another example is a niece of mine in Baton Rouge area. She left here right after high school graduation with my sister and brother in law when his job took him there. She constantly belittles this town and raves about Baton Rouge. Question: how well did she know this area just out of high school? My point is that I think both of these individuals are trying to convince themselves not me. I don't think that either one is a happy person. I know that my friend in Henderson is a very negative person and has difficulty forming friendships.

(we grew up together) His big thing is hiking alone with his camera and water bottles. He's lonely. He's called me at ten o'clock at night just to talk. My niece changes jobs about once a year. She's a faker and I think people see through her.

She adopted the Southern drawl shortly after moving there in an attempt to be accepted I suppose. Her younger brother did not. Her much younger sister grew up there and it became natural with her. People relocate every day and their personality will determine whether or not they are accepted and make friends. My wife and I have more friends than I'd care to count. I live on the very ground I grew up on.

My wife is from a Canadian Province. She has never had a bad word to say about her home town. Are those that moved away unhappy? My experience says yes.

In case you are wondering about my connection with the Eagle I once received a response to information I was seeking from an individual that used to post on this forum. And I stated before that I once worked in Grove City. Loved it there.
