Fred
Fred, can you back up with some facts that almost ALL economists were against the stimulus? Are you saying the Nobel Award winning Paul Krugman was/is against the stimulus? Didn't he argue the stimulus was actually too small and should have been bigger? Do you mean economist were against the stimulus because they thought it was too small?
Wrong again, Fred.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2009/02/flying_blind_on_the_stimulus.html The article was from February 2009. In fact, many economists who were originally against the stimulus now say it definitively helped the economy from going into a free fall. Stop parroting right wing talking points instead of doing some simple research.
Also, you never answered if you were going to give back the tax cuts that were part of the stimulus. If you don't, then you are pretty much were for the stimulus because it did benefit you.
I think the "out of touch with reality" comment was pretty much projection on your part. Fred, you are starting to sound like a left-winger, giving average American families money to stimulate the economy and not wealthy bankers. Welcome to the left side, Fred!
