SRU’s Virata gets indoor track honor
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University freshman A.J. Virata has been named PSAC Male Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week.
Virata won the high jump event at the Al Hall Freedom Invitational at Edinboro University. He has the fifth-best high jump in the PSAC so far this season. Virata also took third in the 200 meters and 60 meters.
