Bill Hader

NEW YORK — Bill Hader is leaving “Saturday Night Live” after an eight-year run.

His spokesman confirms that the 34-year-old comedian will depart “SNL” after this weekend's season finale.

Hader joined the NBC sketch-comedy show in 2005 and has since made his mark with a range of impersonations including Al Pacino, Vincent Price, James Carville and Stefon, the hipster “Weekend Update” correspondent.

Hader's films include “Superbad,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “Knocked Up” and “Pineapple Express.”

NEW YORK — CBS is making a few nips and tucks to network television's most successful schedule, including adding a comedy with Robin Williams playing an unorthodox advertising executive with Sarah Michelle Gellar as his daughter.The network's fall schedule will include four new comedies and one new drama. CBS ordered only eight new series for the entire season, reflecting its success as TV's top network by a wide margin.CBS is moving the drama “Person of Interest” from Thursday to Tuesday nights, and “Hawaii Five-0” will shift from Monday to Friday nights.The network is canceling “CSI: N.Y.,” “Vegas,” “Golden Boy” and “Rules of Engagement.”

NEW ORLEANS — Bravo’s hit cooking competition show “Top Chef” is heading to New Orleans.The cable TV network issued a statement recently that “the vibrant food scene of New Orleans will be a welcome addition in the 11th season of the series.”
