Dr Amesh insists that rich people worked for their money and it shouldn't be taxed at a higher rate than everyone elses.

Obama wants to increase the tax rate from 35% to 39.6% on the wealthiest Americans. FOX news and others on this formum call this socialism.

So lets go back to the most revered President Ronald Reagan's first term in office. What were the wealthiest American's paying on the top portion of their earnings? 50% that's right - 50%!

It was 63-79% during the New Deal Era. Under Richard Nixon -70% and under Dwight Eisenhower - 91%!
