Dale Blaney worked his way from sixth to win the checkered flag Friday at Lernerville Speedway in the Western PA Speedweek Peoples Sprints Feature race.

The Ohio native beat pole-sitter Jeremy Weaver, Mark Smith, AJ Flick and Dan Shetler in the Top 5 across 30 laps.

Saxonburg’s Tyler Dietz won the 25-lap Glassmere Late Model feature race, as only one driver who started in the Top 5, Jared Miley, finished in the Top 5. Miley crossed the finish line in third after starting fourth.

Rex King Jr. won the 25-lap Diehl Modifieds after starting second. Evans City’s Colton Walters, who started first, finished third. And Corey McPherson won the Pro Stocks feature race (20 laps) after starting third.

The track points leaders through the end of May are Danny Kuriger in the Sprints (98 points), Alex Ferree in Late Models (71), Erick Rudolph in Modifieds (98) and Brett Hutira in Pro Stocks (105).
