A community choir — a group that formed under the umbrella of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra — will perform two shows this weekend.

The EchoPoint Chorale debuts at a free concert, “From Earth to Sky,” at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive in Butler. It will hold another free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road in Cranberry Township.

The concerts feature chorale arrangements accompanied by pianist Bryan Helsel and conducted by Heather Helsel. Two pieces will also have accompaniment from symphony players.

The shows run about an hour, with a free reception following each.
