Butler Art Center & Gallery’s spring art show and sale is open through June 5 at the gallery, 344 S. Main St. in Butler.

More than 100 guests attended the show’s opening reception May 22. They viewed 85 works displayed in the main gallery, along with an additional 55 pieces featured in the new resident artist side galleries.

The spring show features a variety of artwork, including traditional floral, landscape and wildlife paintings in multiple media, as well as colorful abstract pieces celebrating the arrival of spring after another long winter.

The exhibits are open to the public through June 5 during regular gallery hours, noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.
