Robert Charles Pegge, 95, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the Lowrie House.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1919, in Renfrew, the son of the late George Pegge and Gladys Arnold Pegge.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, having served in World War II in the 96th Bomb Squadron.

He was a ham radio operator belonging to Butler Amateur Radio Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca G. Smith Pegge.

Pegge — Services for Robert Charles Pegge, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Greenlawn Burial Estates Chapel, 731 Old Route 422 West, Butler, with Dr. Curt McDaniel officiating.Military honors by the VFW Post 249 and the American Legion Post 778 will follow the service.
