John S. 'Jack' Koch
John S. “Jack” Koch, 86, of Greenacres, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Saturday in Atlantis, Fla.
Mr. Koch was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He was a communicant at the St. Luke Catholic Church, Lake Worth, Fla., where he sang in the choir. He also sang in the Coastman Barbershop Chorus.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Jean Koch.
Mr. Koch will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife of 63 years, Madelyn J. “Jean” Koch; his children, Michelle Stewart (Jud), Richard Koch, Cheryl Dick (Robert), John Koch (Vicki), James Koch, (Shelly), and Linda Kintz (Christopher); his 13 grandchildren; his 15 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Karl Koch and Robert Koch; and his sister, Mary Jo Koch.
Koch — A Mass of Christian burial for John S. “Jack” Koch, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, will be offered at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Lake Worth, Fla., with the Rev. Andrew Brierley as celebrant. Inurnment with full military honors will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fla.Memorial gifts may be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project.A memorial Mass in Butler will be later.Arrangements are under the care of the Tillman Funeral Home, West Palm Beach, Fla.
