Dennis Allen Evans, 63, of Zelienople passed away Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital McCandless Township.

Born on Sept. 15, 1951, in New Sewickley Township, he was the son of Paula Vodenichar Evans and the late Carl “Blackie” Evans.

He was a 1969 graduate of Freedom Area High School.

Denny was an active member of The Hungarian Club, Zelienople, and a member of The Moose, Harmony.

In addition to his mother, Denny is survived by his loving partner, Jean; his two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Evans of Zelienople and Eric (Kelly) Evans of Saginaw, Texas; his grandson, Kyle Gille; and his great-granddaughter, Madisyn Gille. Also surviving are his brother, Gary Evans of New Sewickley Township; his three sisters, Donna Buchanan of Collierville, Tenn., Nancy (Jim) Gerster of Conway and Pam Oberle of New Sewickley Township; his four nieces; and his two nephews.
