Tamara Lynn Smaretsky Smith

Tamara Smith

On Thursday, our beloved Tamara Lynn Smaretsky Smith of Sewickley, formerly of Butler, went to be with our Lord. She was unexpectedly taken from us much too early.

That day the Earth stood still for her family and friends as we lost a truly devoted wife and nurturing mother as well as a much loved daughter and sister.

Everyone adored her. Her life was filled with so much happiness and her ability to make everyone laugh around her was contagious.

Her beauty exuded both inside and out and during the 50 short years that we had her the world became a much better place.

Tammi’s life revolved around being a wonderful mother to her two sons, Trevor and Gavin, and being a loving wife to her husband, Blair, of Sewickley. She also is survived by her mother and father, Mike and Barrie Smaretsky of Butler, as well as her brothers, Michael and Douglas of Butler.

Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Anne Smith, of Cranberry; her sisters-in-law, Carla and Carrie; and her brother-in-law, Randy. Her nephews, Ryan and Philip Smaretsky, and her niece, Kaitlin Smaretsky, all of Butler, along with a number of aunts and uncles survive as well.

Friends are asked to remember Tammi in their prayers and to look back at all of the wonderful moments we had with her.

Her memory will continue to light our hearts forever.

SMITH — A memorial service for Tamara Lynn Smaretsky Smith, who died Thursday, April 2, 2015, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bohn-Matich Funeral Home, 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge.
