Robert Brandon

Robert Lane Brandon passed away peacefully April 16 at his home in his beloved New River, Ariz., after a short illness.

Known to many as Bob, he was born in Slippery Rock on Jan. 25, 1949, to the late Robert J. and Eleanor Allison Brandon, as well as his second mother, the late Mary Jane Hulihan Brandon.

After graduating from Slippery Rock High School, he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and served the U.S. as a Navy Seabee. Bob was an outstanding artist and photographer, as well as an avid hunter, camper and fisherman. He raised and trail rode horses, and loved spending time in the desert with nature in Arizona.

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Brandon of Phoenix, Ariz., and Amy Repsher and her husband, Tim, of New River, Ariz.; one granddaughter, papa's pride and joy, Lilly Repsher of New River, Ariz.; two sisters, Wanda Brandon of Slippery Rock, and Tina DeMarco and her husband, Tony, of Slippery Rock; one niece, Isabelle DeMarco of Slippery Rock; one brother, Paul Krauchuk and his wife, Joyce, of Slippery Rock; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins from the Brandon and Allison families; and wonderful friends from around the country.

BRANDON — A celebration of life for Robert Lane Brandon, who died Thursday, April 16, 2015, will be held at the Roadrunner in New River, Ariz., on Sunday.Arrangements entrusted to the Advantage Maryvale Mortuary in Phoenix, Ariz.
