Lowell Hancock
Lowell Hancock, 91, of Kelly Road, passed away Thursday at his home surrounded by his family.
Lowell was born Dec. 11, 1923, in McDonald. He was the son of the late Dewey Hancock and the late Grace Flick Hancock.
Lowell was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He retired from Moonlight Mushroom.
Lowell was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243, where he was the commander for many years.
Lowell is survived by his wife, Phyllis Mershimer Hancock, who he married Aug. 9, 1975; three daughters, Holly Hancock of Butler, Sandra (Kevin) Bauer of Cabot and Beverly (Dennis) Koblick of Saxonburg; one son, Gary (Helen) Hancock of Cabot; and two grandsons, David and Andrew Hancock.
Lowell was preceded in death by three brothers.
HANCOCK — A celebration of life service for Lowell Hancock, who died Thursday, June 11, 2015, will be at 1 p.m. June 20 at the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church. Private burial was in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the William F. Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury.
