Ralph S. McMillin

Ralph S. McMillin, 84, of Chardon, Ohio, formerly of Chesterland, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday at the UH Geauga Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 12, 1931, in Fairview, Pa., to Harry and Mildred (née: King) McMillin, he had been a 55-year resident of Chesterland before moving to Chardon last year.

He retired after 38 years from Radex Wire in Euclid and drove for NAPA Auto Parts in Chesterland.

Ralph was a past master of the Chardon Lodge 93 F&AM and transferred to the Village Lodge 274 F&AM in Burton when Chardon went dark. He was also a member of the Al Koran Shrine in Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara (née: Wulfert) of Chardon; his daughters, Kathy (Gary) Mattox of Bedford, Laurie (Robert) Adams of Largo, Fla., and Nancy McMillin of Gulfport, Miss.; his son, Alan McMillin of Middlefield; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.

MCMILLIN — Visitation for Ralph S. McMillin, who died Friday, July 3, 2015, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, Ohio, with a Masonic service at 8 p.m.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.Arrangements are by the Burr Funeral Home of Chardon.Information and condolences are online at www.burrservice.com.
