Margery Faux
Margery Rosann Faux (Smith) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at her home with family by her side.
Born Aug. 31, 1951, to Robert and Erla Mae Smith of Renfrew. Margery grew up on her family's farm and attended Nyack College before her marriage.
She and her husband lived on Air Force bases around the U.S. before settling in Tulsa, Okla., where they raised seven of their own children and fostered three others.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and music. She loved the Lord and was always active in her church, where she played the piano and organ during services for many years. Her great joys later in life were her grandchildren, traveling with her husband, and family genealogy.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 44 years, Timothy; her children Phoebe (Eric) Belsley of Boston, Mass., Neil (Sarah) Faux of Frisco, Texas, Dwight (Regina) Faux of Huntington, Ark., Stephanie Faux of Houston, Texas, Lana (Binh Nguyen) Faux of Allen, Texas, Jonathan Faux of Chicago, Ill., and Samuel Faux of Tulsa, Okla.; and seven adored grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers, the Rev. Paul Smith of New York and Mr. Ron Smith of Pennsylvania, as well as her sister and lifelong best friend, Miss Janet Smith of Pennsylvania.
She will be laid to rest near her infant son, Mark, who predeceased her.
FAUX — Visiting hours for Margery Rosann (Smith) Faux, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Okla.A service to celebrate her life and remember her loving presence will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Tulsa Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens at Broken Arrow, Okla.
