Karen Lynn (Briggs) Holcomb, 67, of Cranberry Township passed away Monday.

She was the beloved mother of Jason (Melissa) and Ashleigh; the proud grandmother of Madison and Lana; the loving sister of Darrel Briggs and Debbie Davidson; and the daughter of the late Virgil and Irene Briggs.

She also is survived by loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Karen graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1966. She went on to get her education degree from Ohio University.

After a few years of teaching in Atlanta, she moved to Cranberry Township were she became an entrepreneur running her own businesses, Friendly Greetings and Pittsburgh Bridal Shows “Bridal Events.”

HOLCOMB — Friends of Karen Lynn (Briggs) Holcomb, who died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday.
