William Kilbourn Melvin, 66, of Butler passed away Thursday at Meadows Manor.

He was born July 1, 1949, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Edward Campbell Melvin and Elizabeth (Dingus) Melvin.

William was a Vietnam War veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are two brothers, Edward (Gail) Melvin of Tallahassee, Fla., and Richard (Michele) Melvin of Cranberry Township; and his nieces and nephews, Jodi, Eric, Becky, Zachary and Neville Melvin.

MELVIN — Military services for William Kilbourn Melvin, who died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 10 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Allegheny County.Arrangements are being handled by the Young Funeral Home, Butler.
