Lucille V. Grooms, 81, of Saxonburg passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Lucille was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Springdale. She was the daughter of Samuel Grooms and Martha Sipes Grooms.

She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver and the Alle-Kiski Christian Women's Club. She liked hunting and fishing.

Surviving are her daughter, Tracy Grooms of Saxonburg; her sister, Lillie Mae Grooms of Saxonburg, and two brothers, Thomas E. (Jean) Grooms of Dayton and Lester C. (Sharon) Grooms of Sarver.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Norman Grooms.

GROOMS — Friends of Lucille V. Grooms, who died on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating.
