Christopher Lynn Spears, 58, of Butler passed away Sept. 3 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Christopher was born Sept. 14, 1956, in California. He married Mary Lou Fox Stevens Spears Aug. 31, 1991, in Butler.

Christopher attended Penn State University.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and worked in cellular tower construction.

Christopher enjoyed reading in his free time.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Stevens Spears of Butler; his stepson, James Stevens of Butler; and two daughters.
