C. Jean Enslen
C. Jean Enslen, 80, of Evans City passed away Monday night at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
Born July 16, 1935, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Jesse W. and Catherine Burr Enslen.
She was a production worker, retiring at MSA with 42 years of service.
Jean was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Evans City, where she was active baking cakes for different occasions. She also worked at the church flea markets.
She was very proud of her nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers.
She is survived by her three special nephews, who cared for her, Jesse, John and Clifford Enslen, all of Evans City; one sister, Wilminia “Tootie” Critchlow of Renfrew; one brother, Wilbert (Barbara) Enslen of Evans City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
ENSLEN — Friends of C. Jean Enslen, who died Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William B. Henry Jr. officiating.
