Elizabeth C. Curry

Elizabeth C. Curry, 77, of Butler passed away Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Aug. 30, 1938, in Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of Merle Craig and Irene Dye Craig.

Elizabeth had worked in the accounting department for MIS. She was a member of the Community Alliance Church, the Butler Country Club and the Penn Township Women's Club. She was an avid bridge player for over 50 years and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and going to lunch and to the movies with friends. She blessed many people with handwritten notes and cards.

Surviving are her children, Paul (Eileen) Curry of Allison Park, Diane Curry of Pittsburgh, Beth (Craig) Thomasmeyer of Butler and Jeff (Renee) Curry of Butler; her brother, Thomas (Susan) Craig of Texas; her sister, Becky (John) Halfhill of Scottdale, Pa., and 15 grandchildren, Ryan, Elissa, Matthew, Nicole, Jordan, Suzanne (Darren), Seth, Landon, Austin, Brent, J.J., Zach, Reed, Logan and Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul R. Curry, who died Dec. 22, 2005; and her brother, Joseph Craig.

CURRY — Friends of Elizabeth C. Curry, who died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Community Alliance Church in Butler with the Rev.
