Ralph N. Sorg Jr., 72, of Adams Township, formerly of Zelienople, died Friday afternoon at his home.

Born March 16, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Ralph N. and Lena Sorg Sr.

Ralph had been the Mars borough manager for many years and was a Catholic.

Surviving are his son, Craig N. Sorg of O'Hara Township, and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Shane Sorg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie Kathleen Barnes Sorg, who he married May 11, 1963, and who died Dec. 29, 1994; and his brother, Gene Sorg.

SORG — Friends of Ralph N. Sorg Jr., who died Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Blessing services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.
