Charlotte Ann Baker

Charlotte Ann Baker, 76, of Butler passed away at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday surrounded by her husband and her two sons at the Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Fla.

She was born Dec. 19, 1939, in Pittsburgh to the late Ralph Baker and Florence (Muslick) Baker.

Charlotte worked as a librarian assistant for the Butler School District for 24 years, retiring in 1997.

She attended the Trinity Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers and camping with her family in her young days.

She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Baker, whom she married June 27, 1958; two sons, David Baker and his wife, Mary Kay, of Pittsburgh and Steven Baker of Butler; two brothers, Ralph Baker and his wife, Janet, of Zelienople and Thomas Baker and his wife, Joan, of Harmony; one niece, Caitlyn Baker; four nephews, Eric Baker, Ralph Baker, Thomas Baker and Cody Baker; and two great-nieces, Cierra Baker and Brianna Baker

BAKER — Friends of Charlotte Ann Baker, who died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James (Lu) Llewellyn, pastor of the Murrysville Alliance Church in Murrysville officiating.Burial will take place at the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
