Robert M. “Augie” Dodson, 69, of Zelienople passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 14, 1946, in Valencia, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Cromie Dodson.

Bob retired in 2009 and was a truck driver for various local companies.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 years, Earleen V. (Harper) Dodson, who he married Dec. 31, 1964; his two sons, Wayne Dodson and his wife, Connie, of Evans City and Mark Dodson of Zelienople; one brother, Michael Dodson of West Sunbury; five grandchildren, Josh Dodson, Mathew Dodson, Amber Dodson, Justin Dodson and Chris Dodson; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Dodson and Kyler Dodson.

Bob also is survived by three nieces.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Fran.
