Armco Credit Union has awarded $20,000 worth of scholarships to 20 area high school seniors, Most recipients are from Butler County.

The students were selected based on academic, leadership and extracurricular achievement. Students were each awarded $1,000.

Butler County students who received a scholarship include, Riley Carrel, Mars Area School District; Alyssa Cornell, Butler Area School District; Anna Crawford, Karns City Area School District; Hanna Dailey, Karns City Area School District; Olivia Flanigan, Butler Area School District; Ava Girdwood, Mars Area School District; Allison Godot, Knoch School District; Kaden Kozik, Butler Area School District; Grace McCarty, Mars Area School District; Bayliee Payne, Butler Area School District; Leah Radwanski, Butler Area School District; Laini Spohn, Butler Area School District; Braylynn Thompson, Karns City Area School District; and Addyson Traggiai, Butler Area School District.

Armco has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships during the past nine years.
