Drew Allen Lydick

Drew Allen Lydick, 35, of Saxonburg, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away Monday in his home.

He was born March 21, 1981, in Pittsburgh, the loving son of Steven A. and Janice M. Mecannic Lydick of Canonsburg.

Drew was a 1999 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was a graduate of South Hills Beauty Academy, where he studied cosmetology.

Drew was currently a stylist with Super Cuts in Fox Chapel. He was a DJ and musician who enjoyed playing guitar. He also enjoyed participating in the Anthrocon community.

In addition to his parents, also surviving are his sister, Ann M. (Stephen) Gertz of McDonald; three nephews, Luke, Christian and Oliver; his paternal grandmother, Jerri W. Lydick of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mike and Anna Mecannic; and his paternal grandfather, Allen R. Lydick.

LYDICK — Friends of Drew Allen Lydick, who died Monday Aug. 15, 2016, will be welcomed from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, 304 W.
