Daniel K. Hoerner Sr., 65, of Evans City passed away Wednesday.

Born Sept. 9, 1950, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Kenneth Hoerner and the late Frances (Robinson) Hoerner.

Dan loved his job as a truck driver. He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed hunting in his free time. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 39 years, Bonnie (Schlott) Hoerner; his father, Kenneth Hoerner, and his wife, Helen; his children, Melanie (Ed) Reichold of Evans City, Dan (Danielle) Hoerner Jr. of Harmony, Sara (Johnathan) Hardt of Evans City, and Mark (Lee Ann) Meals of Butler; his grandchildren, who were his life, Hunter Matthews, Zachary Hoerner, Brayden Hoerner and Alexandria Meals; his brothers, Tom and Keith; and his sisters, Joyce, Linda, Sue and Jeanette.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Hoerner.
