Wanda Mae Konecko

Wanda Mae Konecko, 92, formerly of Slippery Rock and the Fineview area of Pittsburgh, passed away Sunday morning at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

Wanda was born April 26, 1924, in Midway, Washington County, to Laurence Hazon and Lillie Blaize Wallace Campbell.

She married John Konecko Aug. 6, 1960; he preceded her in death March 29, 1980.

She was raised Protestant and was formerly employed by Allis Chalmers Manufacturing in the Northside of Pittsburgh. She was a resident of the Graystone Manor Slippery Rock for 20 years, and she was an active member at the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.

Wanda is survived by many nieces and nephews.
