James P. Neubert, 93, of Cabot passed away Thursday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Aug. 28, 1923, in Jefferson Township, he was the son of the late Ralph F. Neubert and Esther C. Neubert.

James was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked for Caterpillar Co. and also worked for Armstrong Utilities as a mail clerk. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

Surviving are his sister-in-law, Phyllis Neubert of Cabot; two nieces; four nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and one cousin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Neubert; and one nephew, Mark Neubert.

NEUBERT — There will be no visitation for James P. Neubert, who died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Luke Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran School, Mark Neubert Endowment Fund, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot PA 16023.
