George Claire Brandt, 91, of Butler passed away Sunday at his home.

Born Aug. 11, 1925, he was a son of the late John and Thressa Cypher Brandt.

He worked for Pittsburgh Auto Parts and Sales as a mechanic and for Bill Errera Towing as a truck driver.

Surviving is his wife, Ida Mae Bennett Brandt;seven children;one son-in-law; and numerous grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Brandt.
