Victoria D. Martin, 97, of Butler died Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Jan. 12, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Philip Holom and Mary Prusus Holom.

She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She enjoyed trips to the casino and baby-sitting her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, David L. (Carolyn) Martin of Oil City; one daughter, Paula J. (Joe) Warner of Butler; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Martin, who she married April 14, 1942, and who died Oct. 22, 2008; two brothers; and three sisters.
