Claire M. Stone, 85, of Valencia passed away Nov. 15 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born April 28, 1931, in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late George and Clara Dennish McCann.

Claire was a member of the All Saints Anglican Church in Cranberry Township.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter W. Stone, who she married March 5, 1955; six children, Bill Stone, Catherine Stone, Elizabeth Helm, Polly (Bret) Parry, Tom (Alison) Stone and Vicky (Neil) Raybould; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

STONE — A memorial service in honor of Claire M. Stone, who died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Arbors-Valencia at St. Barnabas, 85 Charity Place, Valencia, with the Rev. Paul Cooper, pastor, officiating.
