Martina Bhame

Martina Bhame, 44, of Apollo Beach, Fla., passed away unexpectedly Friday at UPMC Passavant-Cranberry Hospital while visiting family for the holidays.

Born July 17, 1972, in Foeckelberg, Rhein-Land Pfalz, Germany, she was the only child and daughter of Friedrich J. and Kaethe Hoebel Gilcher.

Martina was a proud wife and mother who traveled the world with her Air Force family. She and her family were recently stationed with homes in Tampa, Fla.; Spangdahlem, Germany; Souda Bay, Greece; Grand Forks, N.D.; Harmony, Pa.; and Ramstein, Germany.

The family was packed and in the process of moving to Shreveport, La. She also worked as an independent distributor for “It Works Global.” One of her greatest passions, outside of her family, was her volunteer work with the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center in Tampa, Fla.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her friends and family from around the world.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Richard S. Bhame; and her sons, Tyler R.F. Bhame and Lukas X.G. Bhame. She also is survived by her cousins, Yvonn (Weber) and Carsten Christmann with whom she was very close.

BHAME — Friends of Martina Bhame, who died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.All other funeral services for Martina will be conducted in Germany.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
