James “Jesse” N. Runyan, 82, of Zelienople passed away March 12.

Born April 1, 1934, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Nelson Runyan and Laura Mae Lancaster Runyan.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Elizabeth; his son, John Runyan, and his wife, Mindy; and his daughter, Cynthia Obrosky, and her husband, Richard.

In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his son, James “Wes” Wesley Runyan.

RUNYAN — A memorial service for James “Jesse” N. Runyan, who died Sunday, March 12, 2017, will be at 10:30 a.m. April 1 at the Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Virginia Military Institute, 304 Letcher Ave., P.O. Box 932, Lexington, VA 24450, or to the Lutheran Senior Life Benevolent Care Fund, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA 16063.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
