Seneca Valley to host 3rd annual Best Buddies Walk
The third annual Best Buddies Walk, hosted by Seneca Valley School District, will take place Saturday, May 30, at North Boundary Park, 1171 N. Boundary Road in Cranberry Township.
The event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., with the walk taking place at 10:45 a.m.
The Best Buddies Walk celebrates inclusion and the diverse abilities of individuals. It brings people together to celebrate students with special abilities.
The event features music, games, face painting, crafts and gift basket raffles, as well as special appearances by the Seneca Valley unified bocce team and Seneca Valley cheerleaders.
Best Buddies is open to the public. Registration is $10 per person. The deadline to register is Friday, May 29, at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will go toward fundraising for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for “one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” according to a news release from Best Buddies.
