Clarence “Ducky” I. Ammon

Clarence “Ducky” I. Ammon, 87, of Bristow, Okla., formerly of Butler, passed away Jan. 17.

Ducky was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Frank Ammon; his brother; three sisters; one nephew; and one niece.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of Bristow, Okla.; his stepchildren, Linda Arnold of Butler, Lawrence Cleeton and his wife, Alice, of Sammamish, Wash., and Ronald Cleeton and his wife, Tammie, of Amarillo, Texas; his stepgrandchildren, David, Michael, Lindsey, Rebecca and Samuel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ducky was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army.

His talents as a horseshoer and trainer made him many friends around the country, and he will be deeply missed by them and his many family members.

AMMON — A celebration of life for Clarence “Ducky” I. Ammon, who died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, will be at 12:30 p.m. May 5 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa., followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Alpine Club in Bridgeville, Pa.Everyone is invited to attend and share memories of their friendship.
