Blaine A. Lang
Blaine A. Lang, 84, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born July 31, 1932, in Marwood, he was the son of the late Howard A. Lang and Esther L. Collins Lang.
Blaine was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He retired from Trinity, formerly Pullman Standard. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot. Blaine was a lifelong farmer.
Surviving are his loving wife, Joann Doerr Lang, whom he married in June 1953; his son, Ron Lang of Cabot; his daughters, Ruth (Dennis) Stitt of Butler and Jean (Roger) Welsh of Butler; brothers, Les (Linda) Lang of Georgia and Richard (Sandy) Lang of Cabot; two grandchildren, Julie (Karl) Struss and Ryan Welsh; one great grandchild on the way; and two nephews, Steven Lang and Jeffrey Lang.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Audine Lang.
LANG — Friends of Blaine A. Lang, who died Tuesday, May 16, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
