Things to do in Butler County this summer
Hosted by the Butler County Family YMCA, the car cruise will feature a 50/50, basket raffles and a DJ.

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a premier annual event that attracts Jeep enthusiasts from all over the world. The festival is a Jeep-only event. All drivers must be at least 18 years old. All Jeeps must be registered and have valid liability insurance during the festival dates to participate in any festival activities.

The Jeep Invasion will start at 6 p.m. June 12 in downtown Butler.
The Bantam Quarry at Kildoo Trail Sessions, Bantam Boot Camp and the Babes of Bantam ride will take place at 989 Kildoo Road, Portersville.
The Weavers of Harmony are sponsoring a free Fleece-to-Shawl demonstration. Different teams will demonstrate their spinning and weaving skills. After the event, the finished shawls will be on display and available for sale by silent auction at the Weaver’s Cabin.

The Fiber Festival will be held in Historic Harmony at the 1805 Historic Harmonist Sheep Barn, the Weavers’ Cabin and Stewart Hall. Free parking will be available at the Steamfitters Union, 230 Wise Road, Jackson Township; and there will be shuttle service available between the Barn, Weavers Cabin, Stewart Hall and parking.

There are about 12 rides available at Saxonburg Fireman’s Carnival including traditional merry-go-rounds, swings and more.
Join the Rodfathers of Butler for the biggest car cruise of the year. There will be DJs, dash plaques, food vendors and special entertainment.

Butler County Parks and Recreation and Butler Township are teaming up to hold Butler Area Community Day.
This event will involve local food, live music and plenty of free children’s activities including bounce houses, balloons, face painting and shows. A fireworks show will close the night.

This event will have local food vendors, entertainment and a dedicated Kids’ Zone with games, crafts and activities. There will also be bingo and a block party featuring live bands and a beer garden.
There will be fireworks to end the night.

There will be a parade and fireworks to celebrate America’s 250th.

The event, billed as “the largest fair in Western Pennsylvania,” includes food, animals, concerts and rides. Prices may vary in person and online.

The Band Jam Grass Roots Music Festival is a weekend-long celebration of local music and artists. It will feature 20 bands and artists.
