Mary E. Holbein, 59, of Butler, formerly East Brady, passed away May 1 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 17, 1958, she was the daughter of Charles R. Holbein Sr. and Norma J. Holbein.

Surviving are her son, Richard Bowser Jr. of Butler; her sister, Dora M. Holbein of East Brady; her brother, Charles R. (Bud) Holbein Jr. of Butler; and a number of nieces, one nephew and one great-niece.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Norma J. Holbein; her father, Charles R. Holbein; and her sister, Kathy J. Smith.

HOLBEIN — A small private memorial service for Mary E. Holbein, who died Monday, May 1, 2017, will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Bums Hollow in East Brady along the river.
