Megan B. Magee

Megan B. Magee, 56, passed away peacefully Wednesdaysurrounded by the warmth of her family.

She was the youngest of four of the late Dr. Donald A. and Vivienne B. Magee.

For the past 23 years, Renae Brinza was Megan’s partner in life. Together they enjoyed good food, fine wine and sweet desserts with family and friends.

She is survived by D.A. (Jennifer) Magee, Erin (Allen) Castner, Vivienne Magee Reber;her sister-in-law Nadine Brinza (Joseph) DiBernardo; four nieces; six nephews; two grandnieces; and one grandnephew.

Megan graduated from Lincoln High School, Ellwood City in 1978.She also earned her culinary degrees from the Culinary Institute of America in 1983 and in 1987 from the LaVarenne and Roger Verge in France.

MAGEE — In lieu of a memorial service for Megan Balph Magee who died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, a celebration of life will be conducted Sept. 3.

Megan had a special bond with her physician, Dr. Stanley M. Marks, and her family is suggesting memorial donations be made to the Stanley Marks Endowed Research Fund at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at www.upmccancercenter.com/giving or call 412-623-4700.
