Norma Jean Edinger
Norma Jean Edinger, 76, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Elmcroft of Saxonburg.
She was born Aug. 7, 1940, in Cadogan, Pa., to the late Homer Oliver Edinger and the late Helen Ruth Jack Edinger.
Norma was a graduate of Butler Area High School. She then worked as a loan officer for Mellon Bank for 43 years, before retiring in 2001.
Norma belonged to the Nuts & Bouquet bowling leagues at Sherwood Lanes for many years. She was also a member of several card clubs throughout her life. Norma enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and was an avid Pittsburgh sports enthusiast.
She is survived by her two brothers, Jack Edinger and his wife, Palm, of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Charles “Leroy” Edinger and his wife, Janet, of Butler; three nieces, Michelle Jamieson of Butler, Marci Pesi of Melbourne, Fla., and Lauren Edinger of Sarver; four nephews, Mark Edinger of Tullahoma, Tenn., Brian Edinger of Estill Springs, Tenn., Matthew Edinger of Easton, Mass., and Sean Edinger of Renfrew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Helen Edinger.
