Carol A. Bowser

Carol A. Bowser, 64, of Sarver passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 25, 1953, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Burd and Alice Kelley Durci.

Carol was a graduate of Knoch High School. She worked as an insurance agent for Hallman Agency in Freeport. She was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Sarver. Carol enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, traveling, going on cruises, crocheting and reading.

Surviving are her daughter, Lindsay Bowser of Sarver; her son, Ryan (Amber) Bowser of Cabot; half-sister, Connie Durci of Saxonburg; brother, Glenn (Melanie) Burd of Sarver; granddaughters, Lauren and Addisyn Bowser of Cabot, and several aunts and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George R. Burd Sr.

BOWSER — Friends of Carol A. Bowser, who died Friday, July 21, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Douglas Dorsey officiating.Interment will follow in Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
