Karl Kenneth Kikel
Karl Kenneth Kikel of Tucson, Ariz., passed away Aug. 16 in Tucson, Ariz.
He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Butler.
Karl was predeceased by his parents, Karl F Kikel and Julia Fejko Kikel.
He is survived by his spouse of 25 years, Christie Muscutt Kikel; his daughter, Devon Elizabeth (Bryan) Flood; his granddaughters, Averie Flood, 5, and Macie Flood, 2; and his brother, Raymond Kikel.
Karl graduated from Butler High School in 1969. He retired in 2009 after more than 31 years at Lexmark, formerly IBM.
Karl was for the most part a “homebody” who enjoyed the simple things, like working around the house, shooting his guns, an occasional golf game and tinkering in his shop.
His ongoing shop projects included a 1933 Hot Rod and a very special 1968 Camaro that he purchased and was restoring as a gift for his daughter, Devon.
More than anything though, Karl enjoyed just spending time with his wife, family and beautiful grandchildren, Averie and Macie, whom he cherished.
Karl was a sweet man with a heart of gold who will be missed dearly by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
“Rest in peace Karl”
